The Complaints Process
AGSI takes complaints against its certified clients, auditors, representatives or itself seriously.
All the complaints must be made in writing to the Director, AGSI. If the complaint has no details of
the complainant or the description not adequate, AGSI reserves the right to deal with the complaint as
deemed fit. All complaints are investigated and monitored. The result of complaint will be communicated
in writing to the complainant.
The Appeals Process
An appeal can be filed by the client or an interested party concerning AGSI's decision on certification to
Director, AGSI. Appeals must be filed within thirty days of the decision of AGSI along with all the
necessary documents in support of the appeal. When AGSI receives an appeal, an independent Appeals Team
will be appointed which is independent of the Appeals subject. The Appeals Team will convene a meeting
which will review evidence from both sides. The Team will make a judgment which will be sent in writing
to the Appellant.
